The Feel Better Breath Book

Authored and illustrated by Trish Jane, this children’s workbook guides kids to recognize their feelings, connect to their body, and use their breath to shift how they feel.
Being able to recognize feelings and notice how they feel in your body is the first step in self regulation.
This workbook offers 10 techniques that take the reader through exactly how to:

Recognize what's happening the their body.

Heart rate fast or slow, breathing fast or slow, body tight, sweating.

Find the "why."

Tired, anxious excited, depressed, worried, exercising.

How to properly inhale and exhale to use the breath to feel better.

Achieve: Calm, focus, realx, presence, sleep, energize, improve memory or reduce anxiety.
Can be done anywhere, anytime with no equipment.

I share My Breath & Me through interactive readings with K–3 students in schools and group settings, guiding children through mindful breathing exercises that support calm, focus, and emotional awareness. As a Certified Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitator, I create a supportive environment where students learn self-regulation skills and practical tools to navigate their emotions.
